Hey guys...
So, the other day i found a case VAC on the side of the road for $200. This thing is a pile if there ever was one...
Its missing a radiator, manifolds shot, all the sheet metals missing except for the hood, which is total trash, custom lawnmower seat installed, all the tires are rotting off the rims, etc.
But, other then all that, it is complete. The rims even look okay...
Im thinking of buying it, and taking a bunch of parts off it, and then scrapping the rest...
What on this thing is worth money?? Im not a case guy, and theres not much else that could help me with the allises. I highly doubt that anyone would want to restore this thing.
Im thinking of pulling the engine, and selling that whole, or whole minus the carb and starter, and selling off the rims.
I managed to get the transmission into three of the four gears, but i bet it would go into first if i turned the wheels a little...
Is there any way i could get my $200 back?? Would it be better to sell the engine whole, or in parts?? I have no idea if it is stuck.
What are the rims worth?? Is there any thing else on this tractor that i should pull??
This is no project tractor to me... And id rather see it get parted out and live on for other people, and other tractors, then just sent to china whole. Think about it... This one tractor might bring 10 back to life...
