You need to look up what does make the cost of oil go up and there is a dollar a gallon protection charge.At least there was a couple years ago.Over a dollar a gallon,not a barrel,but we are still paying for the troops,the war,and plus a dollar a gallon protection charge.Nobody even looks at that kind of stuff.I put it on here before and they replyed that everybodys 401K depended on oil so who cares if its higher priced?
Plus we produce oil,we are number 4 in the world,but we import it from Saudi Arabia and other places,and ship our oil to Japan or somewhere.So the whole thing is a scam.Its not tied to supply and demand at all.Speculators using Big Bank money run the price up and down all the time now.So that 77 or 87 dollar oil is really worth less than 30 dollars a barrel,but speculators have it high so BP can sell us high dollar Canadian oil sands oil at a profit because it costs a lot to refine.We have the same stuff in Utah or someplace,but here we are buying this high dollar crap oil when we have better oil thats cheaper to refine.
All you need to do is spend a day looking stuff up about oil companys.It will make you mad. I seem to vaguely remember that dollar a gallon protection charge went to Haliburton,or some big company like them,KBR maybe.
