This guy attacked me a few weeks ago too. With in two days i got 6 personal E-mails saying unkind things about him from people who visit this forum. I guess you are right, the best way to handle these guys is to just not answer them!! Guys like this think they do no wrong, and go on and on!!
What's really sad is these guys talk this way at home around their kids too. Then you end up with another generation of the same thing. :(
I have to say, of the 4 pu's we have on my farm, the one ton Ford has been the most expensive to own. It's been in 2 times for front end problems, rear axel seals leaking, the puter turning the interior lights on at night and running the batt. down, and several other things.
My brothers power stroke has ate a glow plug relay, a $545.00 water pump, and several other things. He got fed up with it a week ago, and sold it! Maybe these things are built in Texas?????????? :~)
My Dodge all so has been by far been the best diesel. It all so out pulls the power stroke with big loads.
My Chevy diesel has been pretty trouble free in the 195,000 miles it now has on it. The water pump for it was $40.00 bucks, and that's the only time the engine has been open. Our other Chevy diesel has 96,000 miles on it, and has needed only glow plugs. They won't pull like the others, but they aren't all that bad either.
Hey DLT, please send me an E-mail, i have a question for you.
Robert
