Don, thats a good question. I have seen people get realy ticked at a friend over buying somthing that the other said he wanted. But an auction is where the item goes to the highest bidder. I guess its how much you value someones friendship compaired to how much you want the item. I went to a farm sale a while back where there was a 620 JD, nf, 3pt, ps, wasn't stuck but didn't run looked good. I had drove that tractor 37 years ago. a very good friend of mine was there looking at it, first thing he asked was, you interested in this? maby, are you? he said he would realy like to have it if it didn't go to high. I said then I won't bid untill after you stop. He got it for $1700. It was all I could do to keep my hands in my pockets. He got a good deal, and we aint ticked at each other.
