I don't know the exact capacity, but I'm sure it isn't anywhere near 3000 lbs. Maybe 1000 lbs. I know that my 4000 won't even pick up the front end, even though the only weight I have up front is tire ballast. Even if you could increase the lift, you would have to add a lot of weight up front to pick up 3000 lbs with the three point and still be able to steer.
