I'm with you burrhead. If you can get a diesel started, it'll stay running. If you can get a gas started, it's a battle untill it gets warmed up. Only thing is, make sure you are running blended fuel in the winter and change the fuel filters right before it gets cold. That will help prevent geling. Never had one of our farm tractors gell, but we run premium blended fuel. Had our combine gel once, but it was running straight #2 and it was too cold for dad to be trying to clean her up for winter. Just make sure you have a block heater and you should be good with a diesel. Plus, they just sound cooler and all that black smoke when they run hard. Aaron
