I don` know what MF uses in paricular, but most outriggers use a hose burst check valve. It does just what it says as you have found out, The outriggers should stay in position with no hoses on them. They will also take more pressure to release them then the weight that is resting on them. Should your machine weigh say 6,000 bs on the rear end, it would take 6,001 P.S.I. of hydraulic pressure to shift the valves in order for the outriggers to function. Like I said, I`m not positive your machine is set up this way, but it sure sounds like it. Good luck!!
