I am repainting my truck. It doesn't have to be perfect becuase it will be used on the farm a lot but since the paint is several hundred dollars and the truck is in good shape, I would like it to be good. I want to use acrylic enamel. Will this work and are there any brands I should look for or stay away from? My air compressor is 1-1/2 horsepower. IIs that big enough? I don't know how many cfm it puts out. I need to buy a paint gun and I was looking at two models. One was a light duty that took 2 cfm @ 40 and the other took 8 @ 40. I thought maybe the small one becuase my compressor is not very big. I was worried that becuase it is a light duty model it would not work as well. I have painted several tractors, but never a car. Any advice? Thanks a lot in advance.
