three point hitch is invaluable, the most positive item on 8n. I have an 8n for light jobs. we reworked it from the ground up and it works very well. my IH 404 (38 hp ) is my workhorse, has loader and three point (homemade 3pt by me)the weight of Ih can get me in trouble in wet areas. live hydraulics sure are nice but 8n is very versitile in a pinch. Go buy 8n because resale is so easy and you can replace it with 2x the tractor when you find one.8n will do all you want it to except loader work. Very hard to sell once you have taken it on a fishing trip to the creek or taken your kids for a ride towing a wagon. just a great little runner and driver once you get it started in the spring (always have to charge battery and file points after sitting for 3 months).
