I also have a few questions and hopefully help Thomas, and others . When I bought my new John Deere 870 with a 6' wide loader I went back to where I bought it and they gave me methanol?? WARNING THEY SAID, IT IS FLAMMABLE! Pretty sure that is what they called it and said it is way heavier than water, how much?. It is blue and feels like freon if you stick your finger in it. The John Deere dealer told me it is all they ever use now. It takes only 5 gallons per tire for large tires. I jacked up the tractor took the valve core out and let out all the air and filled a plastic hand pump sprayer with the methanol. Took the nozzle off the sprayer and the hose will fit right over the valve stem. Pump it up and in it goes. Then use the piece that hooks to the water hose to screw onto the valve stem and press the valve to release the air every min or so and more often as it fills up. This might be a helpful tip for some of you about the plastic sprayer and they are cheap. I was wondering though, I filled mine until the water started to spirt back out stopped and added no more water. (with the valve stem up at the top of course). Is that not enough of water or too much? Also I leave them slack enough after adding air where they look as if they were a radial tire with a box 6 foot box scrape on back raised. Which these are turf tires. Should I have more air or water? But I do know it gets better traction slack. Another question, it is 4 wheel drive, people have told me not to put water in the front tires with a loader, why? Any comments? End of my essay! Please respond. Thanks for you time.

You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o
