Case 446 problems

Please read the whole thing, then you'll understand my problem... $12,000.00 worth of equipment, and no support. Need I say more about a product supplier.

B.F.

Mr. Parkin,

Thank You for your time, but I did forget to tell you that I live out in
God's country, and driving 3000 miles to look at one of your new units is
not in my plans. I'll look at something else to replace my Case 446.

I now under stand why I could not get parts last year, but I do wish that
your company would have been honest with me. I lost two years use of my
equipment because of waiting for parts that clearly are never going to show
up. Clearly, that says a lot about your company, and what I could expect if
I were to buy another drive unit for $9000.00.

I will be happy to share this important information with all my fellow users
on the Case 446 users group form.

Today's Featured Article - The Nuts and Bolts of Fasteners - Part 2 - by Curtis Von Fange. In our previous article we discussed capscrews, bolts, and nuts along with their relative hardness and thread sizes. In this segment we will finish up on our fasteners and then work with ways to keep them from loosening up in the field. Capscrews, bolts and nuts are not the only means of holding two parts together. When dealing with thinner metals like sheet tin, a long bolt and ... [Read Article]
