another excellent idea; putting battery charger on batteries!!! I have done this also. This is much more practical solution to warming up batteries than taking them inside. I find taking the battery(s) out and bringing them inside warm area is not practical in cold weather. Dealing with the hood, battery box cover, all the cables, the possibility of electrical short, carring them...etc just doesn't work. Besides, doing this every day would destroy the battery connectors, they just aren't made to go through this routine 90 - 120 times per year.
