Woodbeef, you are right. My M isn't for sale! I read about 50 post below saying that tractors aren't a good investment $$$ wise! My post below said there's a difference between "collecting" and "restoreing"! A collecter is going to find a nice some what rare, or just an excelent buy, and hold on to it. The restorer is looking for something "dad" or "gran dad" had, and he piles $$ into it makeing it look pretty. My gran dad had horses, and my dad's tractors were pretty beat!!! I'm buying one of dad's tractors back from the farmer he sold it to soon, and like a restorer, i'll probably pile some money into it!! I think more than Salmoneye is smart enough to know my M would be a he11 of a buy even for $3,000.00, and i paid less than two for it!! Now i ask you, is my M going to make me any money??? Would i have been better off buying a CD, and paying my profit to Uncle Sam?? There's still a lot of money to be made collecting tractors, "IF" you use a little common sense!!! BTW, woodbeef, how many "buffalo" skins will you throw in with that "monolopy money" you have over there, for my Agco???? :~) Robert
