A few months ago I put a new oil pressure guage on my Jubilee, which I purchased from TY. It would take 15 seconds before the guage started to move and another 15 seconds before it got to 40 ps. I posted my problem on this sight and no one could give me the right answer to my problem. After bleeding the air from the 3 ft copper line, it now only takes 3 seconds to build oil pressure. I guess it is like having air in brake lines. It was taking 30 seconds to compress the air in the 3 ft line.
