Neat pictures. Love that old iron.
I started a plow day in '07 with 8 old tractors. Then it grew to 17 in '08; 4-H served food and drinks and they made $100. Then last yr we had 33 old tractors (2 pulling people movers), and 175 spectators! 4-H made over $400. We had drivers from 18 to 73 yrs old (me). For 2010 I have 51 tractors scheduled to come.
Rule #1: All tractors have to be 1959 or older. Rule #2 no hotrodding or showing off. Rule #3 all motors shut off for noon hr so kids of all ages can look over all the machines. Rule $4 is you must have fun!
A local man made an excellent 28 minute video, we have sold 72 so far. We give the profits on that to the local food pantries. Video sells for $10 ea, and everyone says it's great.
This thing is growing so fast it's kind of scary. LA in WI
