Natural aspirated two stroke 53 series Detroits will do about 26HP per cylinder at 1800rpm with N50 or C50 injectors. The 53 series will wind up to 2800rpm with the latest valve and cam follower springs. Take C60 injectors with four valve heads. Dry low restriction airfilter and low restriction exhaust. You may squeeze about 125HP from a 3-53. The 3-71 will go 2300rpm and make about 135HP. There were some turbo intercooled silver 3-53 and 4-53 engines laying around.
