I don't have a wife, but do have a dog. But he only weighs 14lbs. What I've got here is a hilltop and small implements. Any time I take off going uphill the frontend dances, depending on the grade and the position of the implement. I think I'll break down the bumper on the IH. It has four 3.75' pieces of 3-inch steel rod in it for weight (360lbs). Two should be enough. I'll build a bumper for the Deutz and mount two on it-or maybe only one. My design will be easier to change than the one I'm dealing with. Thanks
