RB- You got some good posts to work from here. I like Sparkys advice... A "plan B" might be to put the system back as it originally was, leaving the feed wire to the new light off to the side. Then, wire a wall outlet plug onto the feed wire for the new light and simply plug it into an outlet when you want light and un-plug it when you don't. If you don't have decent outlets, then disregard this and take Sparkys advise. Good luck, I hope you won't need it, and make sure to work with on hand in your pocket when messing with that stuff.
