If your over 10000 pounds gvw and cross a state line with only the intent of making money on a tractor or equipment, your under the same regulations as any trucker which include,CDL, Health card, log book, and about 50 other DOT regulations.Overwidth loads require a permit, Farmers are not exempt any more(used to be). Also federal annual truck inspection. All this for my Dodge 3500 ton with a 30 ft. trailer that i haul antique tractors on.Dot officer told me they had all the big trucks regulated now so there coming after the goosenecks. In ohio State patrol took over Dot's job.Just can't sneak by anymoe.
