Still havent located a owners manual of service manual for my tractor, but regardless I want to replace fluid and filters before it gets manure spreader duty next week. I picked up 20 gallons of CaseIH Hytran, the 2 filters. Can some one walk me through the proper procedure for draining this tractor, replacing the filters, and fluid. I have 20 gallons of fluid, but not sure what it will take. The dipstick on the rear of the tractor appears to be a bit short, maybe and inch, so I am not sure if that is the way it is supposed to be or not. I had heard there 3 plugs to drain? Is there anything that needs special procedure to prime or anything during or after the fluid is changed?Any help woule be appreciated as these case tractors are new to me, and I dont want to mess it up.
