Seems like they take Social Security out of our pay.How does that make it welfare?Every time these same ones come up with this idea that because we have social security it makes us a socialist country.Or if they cant get that argument to stick then its welfare.Lots of people work for places that offer a pension and take it out of the workers pay,so is that welfare too?So its hard to figure out what you can even call welfare. Most homeless people are war veterans.Every day there are 150,000 or more sleeping on the street.I think they should get whatever they need and a place to stay.I wouldnt call that welfare,I would call that thanks.Plus there are lots of people that cant help it that they brought in a robot to do their job,or lots of other things. So if they are looking for work, but have to have help, you could say its welfare, but its more help to get back on track. So if anything needs to be done, there needs to be More Welfare for people who worked all their life but got the shaft from the government.I think some of those big shots making more money all the time should have to pay for it out of their pocket.Homeless shelters and food for people who are on the street. Why,because the churches are overburdened and they need to give to charity, especially since the country is broke.Ive seen more homeless people this year than in a long time. All of them cant be slugs.I even saw an old woman with a walker hitch hiking about a month ago.I have hauled lots of loads of TV dinners and pot pies dontated by frozen food companies to Harvesters and other places.Usually those places are downtown in a city, takes hours to get in there and out sometimes, and the company doesnt get anything for it,and had to pay me too.Not every cent of welfare comes from the government.I have been reading where these same places, that give food to people, are running out of food as quick as they get it.The United States gave Russia whole ship loads of food when they went bankrupt.I sat in line in Gulfport,Mississippi all day a couple of times to deliver to a refrigerator ship frozen chicken one time and hot dogs another time donated by Tyson and Wilson Foods if I remember right.300 tractor trailers or more,of food, free to Russia, who was our enemy during the cold war.
If you look at who has all the money, the rich, less than 1% of the population have more than the bottom 57% of the population combined.Thats wrong.
Some people will argue about how bad welfare is,but then go get commodities and to church pantrys like they are penniless.
Nobody should ever starve in this country,no matter what anybody says about it.Yeah they should work too,but if one bunch runs all of the jobs off then cries about welfare, then there will get to be a balance.Part has already taken place. They are out of power. Then like the boy who cried wolf too many times, next nobody will listen to them either. They brought it on themselves.Neo Conservatives are never good running a country.

Today's Featured Article - The Day Mom Drove the 8N - by Brian Browning. My Dad was wanting to put in a garden but couldn't operate the 8N and handle the old horse drawn plow he had found and rigged up to use with the tractor. Well, he decided to go get Mom out of the house and have her drive the tractor while he walked behind the plow. You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o ... [Read Article]
