My Dad had a Cockshutt back in the 60's. I don't remember the model number but it was diesel and was about 50 horsepower. I remember it being an excellent plowing tractor both for power and traction. I didn't care alot for the high/low transmission they used but we never had a problem with it. It was also an excellent belt tractor. I remember it taking a lot of ether to start it though.
