I was still on active duty when the US Army adopted the 2-1/2 ton trucks that had a "Multi-Fuel" engine in them. And they were that, Gas with the drain lube oil mixed into it, cooking oil(stole from the mess Sgt) Kerosene, JP-4. You name it we burned it. Granted some did not produce the power they should have and, talk about pollution. You should have seen the smoke coming outa the exhausts of them things. Good thing we were in the desert out at Yuma or the tree huggers would've had our heads boiled in oil.
