An old shoemaker slaved away in his little shop.Once a week he put a little money in to a ticket for the Irish sweepstakes. After many decades there was a knock at the door, the man said the old shoemaker had won the sweepstakes. The old man locked the shop, threw the key in the river, and went off for a WILD time for about a year. The money was all gone. He came back, opened his shop, same old habit, bought the sweepstakes ticket. Kept working away. Today's Featured Article - Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents.
