Once upon a time there was a lab rabbit that enjoyed the great view outside anytime the overhead door was open. He had a great desire to explore the scents that wafted into the lab, the fresh air and the smell of the green grass.
At noon one day the researcher left rather abruptly and left the overhead door open a few inches. The rabbits cage door was not properly latched so the rabbit bumped it and simply hopped out the door to explore.
Soon a wild rabbit called to the lab rabbit from outside the compound fence. The wild rabbit pointed out a hole in the fence and invited the lab rabbit to eat some of the fresh grass and to romp and play.
After about an hour the lab rabbit announced that it was time he was getting back to the lab. The wild rabbit just couldn't imagine that the lab rabbit wanted to go back and asked why.
The lab rabbit replied, "Because I really really need a cigarette."
