While lead can indeed help to a smallllllllll extent as far as valve wear and valve seat recession as it sort of lubricates and softens the valve to seat impact, AT YOUR LOWWWWWWW RPM AND LOWWWWWWWWWW HOURS AND LOWWWWWWWWWW COMPRESSION (its sure not needed to reduce pre ignition spark knocking)

If you had an older high RPM car with high compression and the softer valve seats it could help a slight bit more......
