I"m finishing mounting an "All-Season" cab on a 1650 Oliver (gas). The cab is similar in appearance to a Year-A-Round or Hiniker cab. It came off of a 1650, but judging by changes made to the front mounts, I"m guessing it started life on something else.
That said, the cab frame below the front window goes across above the gas filler, about half the diameter of the filler, and will prevent me from using the taller vented cap that was on the tractor. I"m sure I can find a shorter cap to work, but is it normal for the gas filler to end up in the cab?
Just wondering if most other cabs are like this, and if there"s any concern about fume buildup without the vented cap.
