It's got a knock in the lower front crankcase area. I almost have the engine ready to come out, just gotta get that durn chain coupler and unbolt the engine. I made up an adapter nut to go from the 9/16 UNF on the head bolt/lifting stud, to a 5/8 UNC lifting eye. Won't be chopping corn for atleast a month yet. It's just been a slow growing season this year. Last year I think we were done with our early corn by early September. The late planted corn we had to let freeze and dry down for a while. This year we matched up our early & late planted corn so they should be ready within days of each other.
I realised a few hours ago that I won't be able to go to the pulls because Mom & Dad are going to a wedding up north so my wife and I are milking cows that night and the next morning while they're gone. I guess maybe next year. We're looking at buying a house farther out that way so maybe next year it won't be such a drive in one day/night.
