That's an understatement! "Common sense" is almost a contradiction in terms these days. We need to try and pass it along to folks who are new to old iron whenever we can. I'm not real old and gray just yet, but I grew up with a lot of this stuff and figuring out what parts would bite if you didn't respect them became second nature. This needs to be shared with the folks who didn't have the advantage of soaking it up through their skin (literally, when your Dad saw you doing something foolishly unsafe and walloped you for it!), and this forum does a good job of it 99+% of the time.
