Antique tractors are far more dangerous than their newer counterparts. No ROPS, seat belts, safety switches to prevent starting in gear. I wouldn't recommend cranking over a tractor by hand without checking if it was in gear. Also, restoration could be dangerous without excercising some common sense. Heavy castings and flywheels need to be lifted safely, tractor halves have to be shored up properly so they don't topple over when the last bolt is removed. Oils need to be disposed of responsibly. Removing lead based paint should be self explanatory, but if it isn't were a mask. Know how your machine operates before you start it. Be familiar with all the controls in case you have to stop fast or avoid trouble. Know the difference between live and independant PTO. Make sure you have brakes before you drive off the trailer, or at least make sure you have a clear shot. The others will think of more...
