for years and years there was an ad in the back of popular mechanics for a small crawler tractor, sold by The F. struck corporation in wisconsin. It is the magnatrack. Its a neat little machine, 18-20 hp gas engine, drive just like a cat, and can be bought with a front-end loader and backhoe, or blade. It's target market would be hobby farmers, landscapers and for situations just like yours. Its worth a look, They might have an web site. Your next choice would be a bobcat skidster or an excavator, something with tracks. happydigging.
