Nice, very nice. I got a memory bump when I saw that flagman. Notice it's mounted on a box. I used to work for an equipment rental company long ago and we rented those. The flagman was operated with a couple of batteries that set down in the box. You set the flagman on the shoulder of the road and turned on the switch and the arm waved up and down. Very unique for it's time. One evening the alarm went off at our rental yard and the police show up. One of the officers said he saw a man on the lot, so a couple of them climbed over the fence to take a closer look. Suddenly one of them pulled a gun and yelled "freeze, don't move". The burglar didn't move an inch since his batteries were in the shop on the charger. Yep, it was our rental flagman on a box. Too funny. Sometime later while out on rent, he was on the shoulder of the road doing his job when someone ran off the road and struck him and killed him I guess you could say. I had to go out and pick up the pieces and for whatever reason I kept the head since it was mostly still in one piece. For quite a few years I would put his head on a frame with some old tattered clothes and he made a pretty realistic looking scarecrow for the garden. For whatever reason, I have kept this silly thing all these years, I just took these pictures of it laying in the yard. I'm really bad about never throwing anything away, but I suppose this is a bit ridiculous!
