Seems like we get our have our cake and eat it too! For me, it's a joy to see the delight in the eyes of a child who points to the shiney "new" tractor, all for show. This inevitably leads to an explanation of how it works and what it does. At most of the shows that I attend, it's possible to see another restored model at work. Perhaps also another tired old gal ripe for restoration. I hope that we kindle the love of old iron to pass on for generations to come. Sure, I like mine to work, but I'm happy to see 'em roll off the show stuff too.
