Picking up a tractor ?

I've found out that my wife aunt has an old farm tractor. it's sitting uder a tree on her property. My wife thinks her uncle died inthe late 60's, so I am assuming that it's been sitting there since. The other night, she told me I could have it. So how I have to move it. I've seen it over the summer, buy saw no markings (stickers) to say what kind it was, all I know is it has a narrow front end and they used to farm potatos and it has an overhead valve motor. It's bigger than a 48 farmall cub.
30 years ago, her place was a field, now it's a forest.
My plan is to go down sunday and cut all the weeds down from around it and take a couple pics.
i was going to jack up the front and see if the wheels can turn. I am unsure how to see if the rear wheels will turn or even how to see if it's in gear or not. In a few weeks, I'm going to go back and pull it out of it's spot, winch it onto a car trailer and bring it home. I also plan on scouting the property for any attachments, I've heard farmers were famous for taking an attachement off and leaving it where they dropped it. any ideas what to look for. What would a potato farmer have used Thanks,
