Roy, First, you went a little too far too fast. You should have used your torch to heat the nuts cheery red and used a 6 point socket wrench to remove them. Preferably with an impact wrench. Secondly, take the hub off, grind the slag off the remains of the studs so the ends are not larger than the diameter of the stud. Then, press them out. Back up the flange around the head of the stud with a socket that is larger than the stud's head to evenly distribute the force from the press. As an alternative if you don't have a press use a large bench vise. Place a socket over the head of the stud on the back side and if the stud is still projecting place it in the vise. As the jaws go closed the stud will be pushed into the socket. You may have to use a deepwell socket to allow enough travel. Ken McWilliams Dayton, OH
