I don't think that would work. You would just be sucking or blowing stuff into the other side of the radiator. To do even that, I think you need a reverse-blade fan. I don't think you could just flip the fan over. A better option would be finer mesh over the grille. If it gets covered with stuff, just rub it off. A third option would be the kind of grill extension they used to use with mounted cornpickers. Ugly but functional.
