I run mobil 1 in everything I have. You can not beat the far superior lubrication that synthetic oils give. No acids , easy starts in cold weather , which is also easyer on the starter , etc. , etc.. Use full synthetic. Don't monkey with the blended stuff. The only problem with synthetic oils is the cost of buying it. If your engine leaks oil bad , it can get expensive topping it off all the time. If your engine burns oil , synthetic oil might help reduce useage. Also , you won't have any dry starts with synthetic oils. It clings to metal parts.
