A pundit said "that's not enough to send a kid to college or buy a new car, and it's a counterdiction. Car companies want people to buy cars, but wages of their own employees won't afford them one. And, auto workers traditionally set the benchmark for other manufacturing industries." In the 1990's Nike paid Micheal Jordan $27 million a year to endorse their shoes. That was more than they paid the entire Chinese workforce to make them. Looks like we're going that direction. How low should our workers go?
