Burrhead, Sounds like you have problems like we have over here. This polution job is rather crazy. We have taxes on taxes rising at 3 to 5% over inflation on fuel here. The average gallon of fuel costs £4.80. thats around $9.00. 90% of this is tax. Some of this tax burden is to reduce polution by driving vehicles of the road or field. Problem is the polution is coming in from Europe where these controls do not exist and fuel is much cheaper. Would not be so bad if the tax was spent on other forms of transport but they take away what you have then replace it with nothing. The goverment imposses regulation on the British farmer to comply with polution and animal welfare then allows super markets to buy from countries that do not conform to our requirements. Thats my beef for the month. (Tested and totally free from BSE but thats another (scare)story). regards Brian
