It's a bit chilly here, but I've been thinking about the warmer months. Every year we go through a battle with flies. We've got neighbors with cattle and we've got animals, too. That leads to flies. They always seem to get into the house, sometimes more, sometimes less. When we have the A/C on, it is a lot less, but they still get in. It doesn't help when the kids come in and go out several times every five minutes and have to hold the door open for half a minute each time, but now I'm just being picky.
The way I have handled it is to periodically bomb the house with dairy barn flyspray. I know that stuff is supposedly a 'safe' insecticide, but I have my doubts, and besides it costs money. In addition to which, my wife gets unhappy about where those little critters decide to expire sometimes.
Anyway, what do you folks do to handle this kind of situation?
