The govt is getting a lot of heat for the many food scares we have had in the past 2-3 years.
One proposal is this bill, to create one govt agency that oversees all food issues.
Some feel it could go bad & over-regulate farming with a one-size fits all, down to garden plots, and threaten organic & other small scale farming.
While I doubt it will end up there; current wording would allow for that possibility. As always, more govt isn't always better. Just more hoops for all of us to jump through here in the USA, while China & Mexico will likely continue to sell us the same lead & feces foods we've gotten in the past.
