Yep,I have one of those 78-82 light duty with the intake manafold and about half the exhaust manafold cast right into the head. They crack across the head bolt holes right by the exhaust port/manafold and leak coolant to the outside. The problem is the ex manafold has no room to expand and move like a bolted on manafold. And to make matters worse this hot expanded cast on manafold is located on a very weak part of the head, this area has a core plug hole and the head bolt hole very close together. if you set out to design a head to crack easily, you couldn't do better. The good news is that the older head with bolt on manafolds fits right on if you use 73-74 parts. I did this to mine after going through 3 of the integral heads, no more problems and I did not notice any drop in power or economy.
