Carl, one of the problems with 'speed shop' stuff is that their sets are more than likely the new type of carbon/silicon wire (or whatever they call that stuff), which I've found out from experience is not very good with lower voltage ignitions like what the old coils kick out. A guy has pretty well got to stick with the old steel-stranded wire and solder on the ends. Even the old-style wire is getting hard to find, like NAPA here doesn't even know what I'm talking about when I asked.
