I got the same feeling changing the PTO shaft oil seal in my JD 50. You have to take the entire hydraulic rockshaft assembly off to get to this one seal that has 90 wt. on one side of it at a higher level than the 10 wt. in the PTO clutch housing, so when it fails it overfills the PTO and does bad things to the clutch disks.
