The 80 LBS would be fine, or go to 100 ft.lbs. if it makes you feel better. The crank shaft pully, on several of the older tractors, is pressed on over a key and held in place with a setscrew pressing against the key or going into a dimple or gruve in the crank. This adds up to 0 ft.lbs of torque on the end. Your just holding it in place and not holding back pressure. If it viberates enough that you think it might work lose, you need a different pully.
