Just would like to get some other thoughts. Back in October I sold a part on EBAY. The person that bought it had 100% feedback. After almost 3 weeks with no payment, I finally sent EBAY a note, they contacted the buyer, he sent a email saying he was sorry, he forgot, and would send out a money order right away. Got the money order a few days later, sent out the item Priority Mail, no confirmation, no insurance(never had to before). Never heard anything, figured everything is OK. 3 weeks later (over a month after the sale) he emails and says he never got the part. I have no proof he received it, and he has no proof that I sent it. Contacted the Post Office, with no documentation there's nothing they can do, can't search for it or anything. They said to wait a few more weeks because of the Holiday mail rush. Ebay says there's nothing they can do, it would be best to refund his money. So I decide I've never had a problem before and just write this off as a learning situation ($86.00). I send a money order back to the guy, certified mail just to make sure. I checked on the USPS website, the Post Office tried to deliver it 2 weeks ago, left the guy a receipt to pick it up at the Post Office. As of today the guy has not picked it up, and they tried to deliver it again and left another receipt. The Post Office says they'll send it back to me after a period of time. Just thinking this guy is a clown from day one. I've been on Ebay from the start, buying and selling, first time I've ever had a problem. Now I find out that no more money orders, only Paypal. Always thought a Postal Money Order was the safest way to go. Sorry about the long rant.
