Bob a Ford 8N would pull your load if I were you I'd be worring about weight of tractor instead of H.P.,if you've ever had a load push you over a hill you will know what I mean. The Massie with the 3 cyl. is a fine tractor econimical to operater,but I would put ballast in tires or weights.Antifreeze would be great ballast in tires,sounds like your load will dictate tractor size.
