Do you think so , already been thru this but we got lucky and got it back . Now a word to the wise here if ya think that by just pulling the keys out will help , NOPE as the pro's have keys and that will not even slow them down . You have to come up with a way that will make it a lot harder . Yes you can install LoJack but they are getting wise to that . Myself i believe that i have every key for every piece of equipment made from when i was hauling equipment . Several years back while trucking i called a dispatcher looking for a load to anywhere that was big ugly and heavy and paid well . She asked where i was at and at the time i was in Mich . She told me that she had a 850 J John Deere wide track at a closed up Deere dealer that needed to go to Dayton and also that there where two 650'sboth wide track that needed to go to Columbus and what one did i want to haul . Told her that i would take all of them . She said that there was one small problem there were NO KEYS . That is not a problem for me as i have KEYS . Well the 850 needed permits and that was not a problem . Ordered the permits and went to load the 850 . Got to the dealership and was told where to find the key to the gate . Got broke down and got looking around and yep there is the 850 and there is the 650 but where is the other 650 , it ain't there looked all around the place even in the building and it ain't there saw tracks where it had been setting and where it went onto a trailer . While i was talking to dispatch and loading the 850 in come the local law and he jumps ut of the car and asked what i am doing . Told him that i was stealing a DOZER . The look on his face was a true KODAC moment . HE just stood there with his mouth wide open and never said a word . Then i told him that someone else beat me to the other dozer and it was history . Now here in my home town this one will really take the cake , They were building a new store and there was a newer dozer on the job site and one nite around 1:30 in the morning twoguys with a lowboy pull in to the job site fire up the dozer and have it up on the trailer when our local law enforcement pulls in and asked them what they were doing and they tell him that they need to move the dozer to an other job site wright away so what does the Barney Fife do but puts the spot lite on so they can chain it down and stand there talken to them while they chain down .Never wrote down a plate number or make of the tractor and all he could remember was that it was RED with a Black trailer.
