: What size hydraulic pump and motor would it take to couple the motor with a chain/sprocket direct to a rear end of a homemade tractor. Would it be strong enough or should i go through a transmision? Any help or ideas would be apprecated. Also we will be using a 6cyl. gas engine Thanks for the help! B.Neal
we are going to use a 355 ratio rear end out of a ford truck . with 15in.wheels . we plan on skid loader tracks . brakes for steering .maybe we should just go with two transmissions in line and skip the hydraulic drive. I just dont know? but trying to learn Thanks for your time B.Neal
