The only thing that comes to mine is the dump valve o-ring is worn and is not letting valve operate like it should. When tractor is running and with side cover off do you see a main stream of oil returning from the right side of cylinder housing. If there is not, I feel the pump still has a internal leak. I normally check the pump balls and springs by removing pump from tractor and split it where the 4 bolts are. With the pump on the work bench with the bolted head down, I hold my thumb over the outlet hole and then pump each piston individually. While doing this, the others piston should not rise and pressure will build against the outlet hole. This is not a very technical way of checking a pump but it always help me find out if the pump is the problem. Remember to use 80/90 GL-4 or 5 oil in hydraulic system.
